Rio it was not. But it was colorful. Recommeding to friends with kids to not bother with the cinema and to wait for it on DVD.

I expected something better. I mean the 3D was pointless, the main story seemed weak, the baddie was not bad enough. Still, I enjoyed it in that summer blockbuster that doesn't require much involvement from the viewer kind of way.

After seeing it on Sunday I thought perhaps with time my opinion will change. It didn't. So here it is. I didn't love it, but fortunately I didn't hate it either. I was expecting an action-packed movie with perhaps not too ambitious of a script but suspense, story, one-liners. An easy, fun movie. What I got was bored. I was so excited to see it. Perhaps that was the reason for my disappointment. Because disappointed I was. It was not a bad movie, but it was just not as good as it could have been. For a movie that felt sooo long it really didn't tell much of a story.
