SKY EXTRAS - Is This the End for Non-members?

Just logged onto Sky Extras using the link below to see if they had a new free cinema screening:-

I got the following message:

As you are currently a Guest User, Sky account information is not available.

Not sure the page loaded fully either as it contained script type info:-

So is this something Sky do periodically, or is this the way forward and the end of free cinema tickets unless you are a member??????

It was working fine yesterday.

I suppose there are some consolations even if the worst comes to the worst: firstly, Sky is tricky to use and secondly, other providers (e.g. SFF, TT and - whatever happened to them - First4Movies) have tended to offer "normal" previews for the same films.

I think the fox is correct. I just tried and got the same. No matter how much I fiddled it wasn't letting me past.

Oh well, when they get 10 people at their screenings they'll know why!

Don't worry, I am a sky member and there's nothing posted on sky extras at the moment for films

Well there is now - but as long as you know a Sky Extras subscriber, everything's well, LOL.

I have copied this over from the Prince of Persia thread, in case others may not have seen this.

Figured it out!!!

Right click on the "claim tickets" bit select "Properties" and copy the full address. Then paste the address into a new saved link - you have to do this via the link's right clicked properties. Then without having to log into sky you can access the booking page.

This only works with an old offer page as the new one directs you to an authorisation page.

Oh yay! Whoop! Whoop! The link works for me, but I still have to log into Sky as a secondary user. The link helps me bypass the Sky Movies subscriber page and I get the Whip It offer, and when I click "claim your free tickets now", I get the booking form for Prince of Persia. It's all sold out, but hopefully, it will work for the next screening Thanks Steve9872.

Glad it works for you but the link works without accessing or logging into any of the sky site. I use it all the time when checking for new movies.

Thank steve9872. Yes, I agree no need to log in just for accessing the site. I am always asked to log in when applying for tickets though! Don’t you??
