No treble for me but I have just returned from SRO Incendies at Everyman in Hampstead and we plan to see The Big Picture tonight thanks to funthing. So a double will have to do. Now must cook some supper to see us through.

Well, they ruined my double header. The subtitles were cut off from the bottom of the screen. No idea what was going on & we knew it was a lost cause once the projectionist moved the picture up so that the top of the film was on the ceiling and it was just black on the bottom of the screen. Very disappointing.

What a shambles, arrived at 9pm for 9.30pm screening to be told they were running half an hour late so screening is at 10pm.

At 10pm the previous screening came out numbering about a dozen people, we all rushed in, sat down, got comfy, really looking forward to the film, then no subtitles, it was hidden under the black screen, a few people left, the projectionist jiggles it up and down so we lost the top of the film, but still no subtitles, after about 20 minutes the manager comes in says they are aware of the situation, do not know how long it will take to fix, or guarantee it will be fixed, welcome to stay but they can't restart film, as everyone has to be out by midnight, when cinema closes! At this point we decided to leave. Looks like a good film too. So disappointed! Outside I asked the girl who collected the tickets what's happening and she said as there was no turnaround time the projectionist didn't have time to get it ready. 0/10 for organisation!

oh Goodness I'm so glad I called it a day and went. I really don't like Leicester Square after midnight or the last tube home. that sounds like a right pain with The Big Picture, I wonder if you'll get a chance to see it another time?

The whole thing was very badly run. We were told Stake Land would start 10 minutes late, so 30 mins late we were finally let in. Of course it had a knock on effect for Potchie and The Big Picture. I feel sorry for you guys and the other poeple who came out to see it and would have ended up waiting for nearly an hour only to find the film not viewable

Oh that's such poor organisation!

They should have at least offered you free tickets or something!

Someone did ask for compensation and she gave him the Troll Hunter t-shirt which was sitting in a box by her table. I would rather see the film!

It did sound a bit ambitious for SFF to have so many screenings in one cinema...

On a positive note, Robbie Collin said Troll Hunter is one of the best films he's seen this year. Actually he hinted at it on twitter as it's under an embargo apparently but I saw him come out of the screening (you can't miss him, he's over 7 foot tall). Really disappointed they didn't give away tickets to that as well.
