the last band at Canada Day concert Trafalgar Square played a whole gig, at least a dozen songs! Not sure what they were singing half the time but it went down a storm.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

6 different satues of his head came out during the shows!
such a show man and great fun

The gorgeous Olly Murs was his support act

highlight of the night must have been them both singing kids (the one robbie sang with kylie)

Popped a review of Hard Rock Calling up. Thought it was pretty rubbish. Long queues for beers, long queues for toilets, expensive junk food, advertising everywhere and boring middle of the road guitar music.

Kasabian were alright though.

I filled out the email survey, very negatively, it was all an appalling shambles in the end. some of the questions were crazy. Apparently one of the sponsors was Vodafone, I did't even see any other sponsor apart from Tuborg! So if Vodafone was a sponsor, how come there was no WiFi?

YOur review was excellent, you should send it to HArd Rock Calling o/

I agree, great review. I thought all the bands on the Main Stage were very samey too, a singer, two guitarists and a drummer! I was quite bored too. Kazabian was the highlight for me too, but when they came on, a group of troublemakers as usual, went crazy and started pushing and shoving to get to the front and squashing everyone in the process. Security can see who they were, and allowed them to almost kill people in the process, and cries for help were ignored! Luckily, I gave as good as I got, and with others we managed to fend them off and they disappeared to hassle someone else.

I did not notice any other sponsors except Pepsi Max :D, I was not really looking anyway, as we wondered round the smaller stages and then to the Main Stage, and when we got there, being so far away, we decided to stay put as it was too far to go anywhere else!

We took our own food and drinks, as didn't want to p*y their exorbitant prices for crappy food and drinks.

Luckily the tickets were free, and would go again, if tickets were free again. o/

However, I was a little sad to see my beloved Basketball Arena (Marshmallow) replaced by the Main Stage in the Olympic North Park, where I had spent my whole summer last year! :D

Seatwave is usually worth a look in days even hours before a gig, when people get desparate to sell their 'spares' prices gone below face value. Though a quick look, it would seem there isn't too many. May change.

Good idea. You can always try your luck at some last minute tickets from touts just before the main acts come on - but do not offer more than £20.
