Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
starting what feels like an extended easter scifi weekend, with Oblivion, The Host and War of the Worlds on the cards with my vouchers, and might check out Defiance on Monday.
Which brings me to Revolution. This post apocalypse feature makes for undemanding viewing, thankfully more of a soapy 'Jericho' than the abysmal 'Jeremiah'. in fact its very Jericho, it seems to be borrowing key plotlines. But you have to ask yourself why are we getting a new show that will inevitably get cancelled in season 2, when what we really all wanted was a resolution to previous cancelled such similar shows that suffered that fate.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I gave up on Revolution a few episodes ago as I thought it'd become very boring. Shame because I thought the first half of the season showed a lot of potential, but I wanted more focus on the black-out and the technical reasoning behind it and less on an actual revolution.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
yep, its really a dumbed down version of Jericho (which was a pretty good show if you could stomach the soap opera element). Trouble with this new show is that the actors don't appear to justify a 15 year lack of resources, they are too glammed up and wellfed to have gone through that. A little bit of effort into making this feel more real would have helped a lot.canadian_turtle wrote:I gave up on Revolution a few episodes ago as I thought it'd become very boring. More of 24 Series 2. Now we're taking bets on how many weirdos KB will meet in a night.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
A slightly lacklustre last day of The Masters, brought to life with a fantastic, thrilling climax.
