Saw the Story of Qui Ju directed by Zhang Yimou, this morning at the ICA - a very interesting story, simply told of a heavily pregnant female peasant wanting justice for her husband by way of a simple apology after he gets kicked in the groin by the village chief. The lengths she takes to get that apology and a rather sudden ending was very thought provoking. Qong Li played the dowdy, naive peasant woman really well. The contrasts between village, town and city life is vividly portrayed, each scene stunning and beautifully filmed. The social roles, the interaction between the characters was also very realistic. A sweet and poignant film, and a satire of the bureaucracy in China. 8/10

Like Tilly says it is similar to KGBdeals where a company "bulk buys" a product or service and then try to get that number of people to b*y it. The idea that b*ying lots should make a product cheaper. So you p*y a fraction of the cost and in return you get a voucher for a higher amount. It only works when enough people have pa*d. If it doesn't reach the number the "deal is off" and no one gets any money taken off them. If the number of people of people is reached then those people get that deal. Often the deals are daily and only on for 24 hours. Sometimes though the deals are not as great as they make it out to be so always check them out online before b*ying.

Groupon is a huge American company which took over from mycitydeals whilst kgbdeals is financed by the company behind 118-118. I am guessing you must have sign up or something to get these email alerts.

Some of the deals are pretty good though.

I once pa*d £1 to get a £6 amazon voucher. :D (I think it was kgb deal)

I use Groupon and Kgdeals a lot, well worth looking into especially if the deal is local to work or home. Keynoir has only ever had one deal useful for me, mostly their deals are high end of the market. Bespoke shirts and things like that.

Anyway I managed to get my Dr's appointment so that's good vx
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
