Re: FMUKCON - Saturday, 8 April 2017 - Leeds
I've booked my travel and hotel now, so I will definitely be there. £103 all in, which I thought wasn't bad.
I'll see TheyCallMeMrGlass bright and early on Saturday for a run and then the rest of you lot later.
I intend to do some exploring on Sunday (given my usual extreme reluctance to leave London, I thought I might as well stay a bit longer and make the most of it) but would be up for a bit of stargazing on Saturday night.

I will be doing my usual sight seeing so if anyone fancies joining me it will be lovely to have company to explore the city (no problem if no one does as I am happy doing things on my own too - I am quite resilient so won't be offended if you say no thanks )

Err, once I complete my parkrun at 9.45am, I am heading back to the hotel for a quick shower and change so I don't look like a sweaty mess all day! Diane65, are you staying in town for a bit after FMUKCON or are you just exploring early in the morning? I'm happy to go for a wander afterwards, it's just before doesn't seem very realistic. You're a girl; you understand.Diane65 wrote:I would be delighted for you two to join meTheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:Diane, when Asamaic and I complete our parkrun (about 9:45am), mind we give you a call and see where you at, to join you?

Same here, booked a bnb deliberately next to the park so can freshen up after the run. Will find you then wander with you thereafter!
Conveniently, the park is open 24hr so convenient for stargazing too on my telescope for whoever would like to join me.
