This month, we've got the original and wildly anticipated Troll Hunter, an EPIC (yes, EPIC) monster chiller that will make you question your grip on reality. It's a thrillingly hilarious tale of a group of students who risk their lives to uncover a world of beasts – the kind of beast wot turn up in kids' stories.

The government says it's just bears making a nuisance of themselves in the mountains but as they document their adventure to find the truth they find themselves an unlikely hero – the Troll Hunter.

It's in cinemas September 9 but you lucky folk can scream along in our Slackers Club event this month – free for all Slackers Club members – taking place on Thursday 1st September in Picturehouse Cinemas across the land. And all you need to do to bag yourself a ticket is head down to your nearest Picturehouse armed with your trusty Slackers Club membership card.
