We have a pair of tickets to give away to the BFI London Film Festival screening of anticipated Sundance hit Martha Marcy May Marlene, an unnerving, intelligent film about a troubled young woman who has escaped from an abusive cult and taken refuge with her sister. The screening is on Friday 21 October at 20:30 at the Vue cinema in London. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available. It already made a splash at Sundance, but now Martha Marcy May Marlene is headed for the BFI London Film Festival, and you can win one of 10 pairs of tickets to see it on October 21 at 20.30 at a sold-out screening. The debut feature from Sean Durkin, it’s led by a truly impressive performance from Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Martha. We meet her in a seemingly idyllic commune in the Catskills, but soon she flees to her sister’s lakeside home where she is haunted by her experiences – although how much is real memory and how much dream isn’t quite clear. Also starring Sarah Paulson, Hugh Dancy and Winter’s Bone’s John Hawkes, this is definitely one to look out for.
Martha Marcy May Marlene is out in the UK on February 2, but to be in with a chance of winning, just answer this question.
