I'm just catching up and saw their tweet from earlier, that also means there's no need to worry about the thing about having a print from the paper if ShowFF are giving out the code on it's own.

quite liked this. A bit of a saga, the type of film I can see being a Christmas day film on the bbc. Not keen on the start, all felt a little too contrived, not a lot of suprises but all in all a good yarn. 7.5/10

I surprisingly absolutely LOVED this film, I was going in thinking that this was just a romancy film, but it was so much more, a struggle for survival in the 1930's depression, the story line was intense, riveting, and with a beautiful ending which brought me to tears. I loved every minute of it and the young and awkward acting of Pattinson's twilight years already seem far behind him, he made the character his own and deserves alot of praise, hopefully will be seeing this again.

6/10

I fail to understand why they gave him the news at such a crucial moment. There was nothing he could've done.

Also, why was he, as a fit young man, unable to throw any punches against someone older than him.

The acting was ok. Wouldn't see it again though.

Yawn! I am afraid I found this really boring! Agree with M R M R - should have told him the news afterwards. I liked Reese though, and the animals - 5/10 for them. I wanted to see "no animals were harmed in the making of this film" at the end of the credits, but OH made me go, as there were no one left watching the credits, except me!

Got to Odeon Covent Garden at 5.55pm and a queue had already started half way across the foyer! Beate and cliveas was soon behind us. So funny, on entering Screen 5, all you hear is "can't see a thing"! from everyone. It was crazily dark. Managed to grab the last four seats in the back row. The screening was pretty full and did start on the dot at 6.30pm despite being let in at about 6.15pm.

I have to agree - you don't break news like that at the beginning of an exam - you wait until after. Acting was ok but the star of the show was Rosie the elephant. All power to you, girl! Loved the old lady. Christoph Waltz is a very good actor but I fear he is getting pidgeonholed into "the mad psychopatch". Yes he does it well, but does he have to do it in every role? Story was ok but not groundbreaking, and felt forced at times. OH loved the scene were Jacob gets his induction and laughed very loudly at it. Haven't read the book so have no idea how faithful it is to it but the ending felt kind of rushed.

Thanks to prettyxcool for saving the seats as I couldn't see anything in the dark, and to cliveas for the free book!
