I got angry at that kid. I thought someone else who was of age could have gotten the ticket instead. Mind you, screening rooms are never full anyway.

I thought this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen....... tho in fairness I left half way through as I could stand no more of the bad acting, dire dialogue, foul language and pointless pointless story! I would have left earlier if I had been sitting at the end of a row and not wedged in the middle. Once we made the move and left a few others did too, tho I have to say there were a few people laughing out loud at the "jokes"! Certainly it should NOT have been a 15! If you are thinking of going to see it, think again!

Interesting to see the mixed reviews here. My wife and I both really enjoyed the film. It was good to see a film with a bit of character rather than the usual Hollywood fare. It was also nice to get seated easily and have the film start pretty much on time after last week's shenanigans with Captain America at the O2.

Really not sure what to say about this film. Not sure it was as bad as some people are saying. I certainly laughed in parts, however it was so obvious & the script was overall bland....actually I'm bored writing about it...............

I thought this was ok and it improved as it went along, but not as good as the reviews it's been getting. No way near as good as Father Ted or In Bruge which is what it's been compared to.

It was clever though.

I enjoyed it way more than Planet of the Apes though!

@KK - great review again http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 60#p129127 and agree with you, but also agree with aruif

there were some really quite funny moments in it but it was so slow, it needed a bit more pace. i also didn't understand half of it and i'm pretty darn good with accents usually.
I didn't fall asleep though, but the guy next to me did in the middle and you can hear a gentle snoring!!

Also what's with the girl in the back row with her mobile phone - took two calls during the film!
And two people left in the middle. The most disruptive film, I have ever been in!

Film reminded me of Ballykissangel, TV series, which I loved: funny, whimsical stories and the lovely Irish accents. 7/10.

Funnily enough when I got home afterwards I watched Single-Handed on ITV which is about......a Garda sergeant in Connemara. Now that's a great show.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, I did not see any FMUKers, but on the back row was an ex colleague and an empty seat next to her lodger! So I sat there, and again probs with my mobile, did not get your text that you saved me a seat! So had to endure the constant chatter on my right from her friend on her right and the lodger's snoring and then two seats on my left the girl with the two phone calls! Luckily the lady next to me was quiet as a mouse and motionless as a statute, otherwise I am not sure what I would have done! Strangle someone?
