This is more like it after a disappointing Happy Feet 3D, I really enjoyed this! Lots of twists on my favourite fairy tales and rhymes, good humour, and a purrrfect (sorry!) soft paws, a feisty female, clever as well as beautiful, giving as good as she gets. Well done! Thought most of the 3D worked well here too. 8/10

Many thanks to Beate and a_person for saving me a seat. I had a journey and a half getting there with all the train line closures and slow service! Nice to see valda and MrG too.

As Beate already said, after pre-registering for the Sky interview, we ended up in a queue of people who were enticed by the Sky rep shouting out "free cinema tickets". So we ended up waiting half an hour for a two minutes interview! Also we had to complain to get the two complimentary tickets as promised, as they were only handing out one, and had to show them my email for the pre-registration.

8/10 from me.
It was lovely to meet you at last, after that wave from you in semi-darkness at the Arthur premiere many months ago, when you sat a few rows behind. Just checked and it was in April. Anyway, you are as lovely as I thought you were. ;)

Aah, sorry to have missed you! Next time! ;)

Daughter and I saw this at The Apollo Piccadilly Circus which has to be one of the nicest cinemas around. There was some entertainment which was nice and low key with someone making an octopus with balloons (would have suited someone on FMUK!) and a variety of other unidentifiable things, a bit of face painting, decorate your own biscuit, a man with a very posh voice doing magic tricks and there was a real Puss in Boots (real name Washington) ginger cat and a cute grey kitten called Angel for the children and grown-ups to admire. We were relieved to hear from the owners of the cats that they only do this work occasionally and are much cossetted at home--The ginger one seemed most interested with the homemade roast chicken treat he was being fed! We got the nice cat masks, bottles of water and popcorn (sweet) which we left behind as we aren't cinema munchers.

We liked the film -- and didn't Puss in Boots look terrific in his jaunty hat and boots. Even the 3D didn't bother me and it seemed perfectly bright throughout which is rare is my 3D experience. It was a really nice morning and I thought the children in the audience behaved very well!

I saw this at The Apollo Picadilly Circus and it was my first time to this cinema. The cinema was lovely and the screening was packed out. There was lots of low key kids activity before hand and everyone was very pleasant. I was tempted to have my face painted but to be honest this would have been quite disturbing for the kids to see.

Really enjoyed the film. The 3D was ok but at least it was all pretty bright. Loved Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots. The pacing was fine and there were no real dull moments to the film. The film looked great. It was a lovely film and a great way to kick start a Saturday.

I asked for a kitten 8-)

Got to go to work so I can't say a lot about the film: loved it, the 3D was worth it, the Apollo crew was very nice and prepared lots of stuff for kids & grown ups, from baloons to cupcakes, from magic to real cats...
I really enjoyed the story & 3D, nothing else to add!
Ok now I'm late so: really nice morning at the Apollo :)

Maybe that's cos there weren't many children, but mostly adults!!

We went with my twin cousins (who are children). We all loved the film and thought the 3D worked very well. I normally don't like it.

We thought the entertainment was very good too. The kids enjoyed their biscuit/cake decorating.. The balloon modellers were very funny.

8/10 from me.

Quite a few kiddies down our way but you're right, SS, there were a lot of grown ups enjoying this film. I saw you with your cousins who were no doubt perfect throughout.

Sunny Saver's small cousins were perfectly adorable and perfectly behaved. So SS sat with two small children on one side of her and two big ones on the other (us). But we all had a brilliant time, loved the animation and enjoyed the story and jokes.

Hmmm, you didn't hear the little boy telling me and his sister 'Now don't go having a general chinwag' when we were on our way to the loo

He was very impressed that Esther supported Arsenal too, but not so his twin sister who's a Manure fan.

Huh - instead of giving the popcorn to us - we survived on a handful of croissants all day! Just back from our movie marathon - 4 films straight after the other, don't know where to start!
