Re: Dredd 3D
If you leave your brain at the door and don't think about it too much, then this is enjoyable. It is loud, bloody and violent but oh so entertaining. The action is great to watch and the 3D is incredible, felt really immersive, but perhaps not so good for vertigo sufferers! Urban was pretty good at ejecting menace into the character despite only having the bottom part of his face visible for the entire film. 7.5/10.

There have been free screening to see this?
If so I'm gutted that I did not manage to get tickets for this.

Re: Dredd 3D
Loved the original, can't wait to see what they've done with this.
Re: Dredd 3D
Loved the original? You mean the Sylvestor Stallone / Rob Schneider version?
Are you sure you're not confusing it with something else?

Re: Dredd 3D
Yeah I do like the old Stallone films. Wonder when they will remake Demolition Man?

Is it worth watching in 3D or 2D guys, I've always found majority of the 3D films a bit of a gimmick.

Re: Dredd 3D
Thanks for the review… having seen the trailers, I was nervously wondering whether this will be as vomit inducing as the Stallone version. Thankfully it appears not. And seems this can be enjoyed in 3D…soonforgotten wrote:Embargo is up, so here's my review of Dredd http://londonfilmfanatiq.com/2012/09/03/dredd/
Do you think this style that its shot in is similar to Sin City or was that allot more ‘comic-book’ than this?
