two more mature couples walked after about 45 mins.

I kept with it thinking it would improve, but it didn't. Unlikeable characters - all of them!!! What was the point of it all? I don't know and sadly I don't care. I went to this as I thought I'd hate Pitch Perfect. Hmmnn.....

haha, I can't judge, I walked out of Haywire

2 couples walked out at Islington as well, leaving some 20 of us in the room!

No one walked out in our screening, even considering most people were over 60. There was actually a 3/4 screen in portsmouth!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I don't know why this was a Telegraph screening - the usually elderly demographic certainly weren't the target audience here, and four of them walked out in quick succession about half-way through. Islington was shamefully empty anyway - after the walkouts there was no one left in the back row apart from David, my OH and myself.

While OH was ok with it, I found it boring. The characters were fairly annoying and the story not much to write home about and followed mostly the woman and her denial then regret about not having tried harder with her marriage. She was the one who wanted the divorce and thought she could stay friends with her ex and not care if he moved on - when he did pretty quickly, it felt like a case of hurt pride more than anything that she suddenly wanted him back. Apart from the fact that those two had no chemistry together or that the side-story with Emma Roberts and a penis on a CD logo didn't work at all, it just dragged on, despite being only 90 minutes long - its only saving grace. Oh and having Chris Messina in it - he seems to crop up everywhere these days.

5/10

Gosh, and I thought perhaps I'd been a bit hard on it! I still think it was fairly inoffensive and typical of its genre, i.e. for me no worse than many similar films. However, it's nice to see even slightly older couples feature sometimes, a la Hope Springs.

Worse, in Edinburgh one bloke trying to leave discreetly fell over completely. The usherette helped him up and he seemed oK. That was more interesting than most of the film.

So, another wasted Andy Samberg vehicle, huh? Oh well, I'll just watch his Harvard speech again then.

Lovely to see valda, jeancomp and tsoiboy tonight at the Courthouse Hotel. We took one row near the back with our plus ones. The screening was quite full about 95%.

Disappointing. Although 91 minutes long, it felt longer! Was so bored. I waited for something to happen but nothing did. My OH yawned all the way through. About three people walked out after only about 5 minutes into the film. Didn't know you did too valda, you were very discreet. Yes, there was a constant rustling behind jeancomp, all through the film, very annoying. The main characters were so annoying too and had no chemistry. I was surprised that this was a Telegraph screening. 3/10
