Re: Monsters, Inc. 3D
Let's hope it's good, I grew up with this film!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Re: Monsters, Inc. 3D
I have got tickets to see this and I'm looking forward to it. Even better with the 3D element I hope.

I can't see this thread anywhere, if there is one, please merge.
The doors open at 02 Greenwich for the Balcony at 9.50am - it gets earlier and earlier, that is over 1 hour and 15 minutes wait for the film to start, as the short pre-film started at 11.08am. The children were getting restless, well, that is a long wait even by adult standards, but luckily, they were all pretty quiet when the film did start.
This was lovely. I have not seen this before, so it was a nice surprise.
Thanks to Beate for taking me along on her spare, and for her company. Lovely to bump into hdaniel on the way out, and her company to the station.

Re: Monsters, Inc. 3D
This was amazing!
I remember when I was 5/6 watching this at the cinema for a friends birthday, it was amazing then and was even better in 3D. Fantastic story, characters and animation!
A well behaved screening which was only 75% full.

p.s Loved the mini short - The original short which was played at the cinema when first released!

Re: Monsters, Inc. 3D
We were there at a quarter to 10 for an 11am start and we weren't the first in the queue! It gets sillier each time. We still managed to get our favourite seats though and PXC is a great companion, bringing along self-baked cookies and treats. I will complain to Sky though for never starting on time. Seriously, they make you sit there for over an hour and NOT ONCE do they manage to start on the dot, no it's always at least 5 minutes late. There were tons of bored kids who grew louder and louder, and downstairs they were running riot at the front, playing "catch me if you can". This should not be allowed to happen.
Anyways, cute short which I don't remember seeing before and it was nice to see Monsters Inc. again on the big screen though I have no idea what the 3D might have added, but at least it wasn't distracting.

Re: Monsters, Inc. 3D
We all enjoyed this, kids seen it many time but first time I'd seen it all the way through.
3D was pretty pointless, don't think it added anything at all.
Lovely to see funthing29.
