I thought this was awful. I mean, what was the point? Let's get the audience cheering for the poor, bankrupt guy as he kills everyone who gets in his way -- but how lovely that he managed to avoid the school bus! Save the children but slaughter everyone else. What a hero! Dreadful, dreadful waste. Only redeeming feature was that son got to see Aaron Paul in real life and not just on Breaking Bad. Shame his film was so bad.

Don't forget that he saved someone from a car wreckage just so he could sock him one!

The one redeeming feature was cheeky chappy Rami Malek (the guy who stripped off). I have seen him before in something but can't quite figure out where - checked his filmography on imdb and haven't seen many of his films at all. But he's just got one of those faces.

You make him sound like a mass murderer out on a killing spree

I was also at the screening on tuesday, and while I enjoyed the intro from Aaron Paul and Dominic Cooper, the film itself was a massive disappointment. The car chases and most elements of action were handled well, but the story and character building was carelessly done. 4/10

Here's my belated review - I was there too! :P

I arrived about 6.25pm, and the queue was already quite long. I went inside and said to the comp organisers that I won tickets and he said I had to join the queue, and I asked if it was the same queue, and he said yes! But luckily, when the queue started moving about 6.55pm, a lady came round with the guest list for comp winners, and we went inside pretty quickly, and managed to get premiere seats! Otherwise, I would have been quite peeved having to wait along side non-comp winners, once the doors opened. :D

It was quite a long wait for the film to start t0o, but at least got the popcorn eating out of the way, so no noisy rustlings during the film. Lovely to see Dominic again, this time with a beard (having already met him before at Devils Double).

What an adrenaline rush film, enjoyed it thoroughly, especially the car racing on the public roads, if you suspend disbelief and go with the flow. Much better than I expected. 8/10

The best part of this was getting to see Aaron Paul at the screening. What a shame he picked such a poor film: http://moviefilmreviews.co.uk/2014/03/0 ... -speed-3d/

Absurdly enough, there is another film out very soon which features both Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots. It's called "A Long Way Down" and looks like a stinker too. At least it has an appropriate name.
