I can't believe I didn't get into this screening at Greenwich and I was so looking forward to it! I've NEVER been turned away for a screening before. I'll make sure I get there early from now on! On the plus side it was Wednesday so we took advantage of 'Orange Wednesday' and went to see something else! :-)

@ Beate - as long as it's not bothering anyone (which it wasn't as I hid it under my bag), I don't see what's wrong!
@ baty - poor you, stick your middle finger up next time, found that normally does the trick!
@ princess - glad I was on my course then!!! I would not want to be turned away....
On to the film - I quite enjoyed this. I was abit apprehensive at watching this because I thought it wouldn't be my thing but I thought it was a nice chick flick to watch especially on a Friday after work. My friend absolutely loved it. I wouldn't want to p*y for a movie like this though (unless chick flicks are your fave then this is certainly one to watch) so glad I got to see this for free. Very shocked at how packed WIQ was for the 21:20 showing. I wonder how many people had actually pa*d.

Member No. 2 of the "100 free films in 2015" club. 3 seen, 97 to go!
Realistic target: 5
Preferred cinema list:
1) Cineworld: West India Quays or Greenwich, 02, Vue Westfield - Stratford City or Picturehouse Stratford
2) Picturehouse Greenwich
3) Any central London cinema including Islington (excluding Shepherd's Bush, and Whiteleys unless it's some super duper cool film)
4) Odeon Greenwich or Odeon Surrey Quays

As a strong tough bloke I' not a huge fan of rom coms but suprisingly I found this movie a good watch ... I guess the humour in it helped. I think we expect too much from a big screen movie given all those action/special effects ones but I think theirs room for these too ... especially if you are on a date and therefore I rated this movie 7 out of 10.

I was due to see this film in Birmingham last week but arrived 3 min late to find about 7-8 others waiting to get entry but the security were not listening at all. Everyone was told that entry cannot be allowed since we are late. People tried to say they had popped out for popcorns and got late at work but in vain. The cinema manager was good as she allowed us all to pick another show (of another film) at no cost...at least it did not seem like a waste to turn up as I was able to watch "Eat, Pray, Love" (I was disappointed with the movie though---very slow and boring). I expected Life as we know it to be better.

Saw this today at my "local" cineworld. I enjoyed it quite a lot, quite surprising really as I wasn't expecting it to be my thing. Hey, maybe I do like RomComs after all.
This one took me back a good few years to when my kids were just babes. Quite a nostalgia trip. I thought Katherine Heigl was really good in this as Holly. What a very pleasant lady .......mmmmm!
Josh Duhamel was excellent as Eric too. A story with a good mix of the sad and humorous with plenty of ahhh! moments just for good measure.
8 out of 10.

Beate wrote:Yes well, it wasn't me, but I happen to think that if I come early I can choose the best seats. Maybe she didn't want to move because she would have ended up behind someone tall. There is no law that says you have to move up for latecomers.
That is a good point. As a shortarse myself I would not volunteer to move if it meant sitting behind a tall person. I filled in a questionnaire for Vue today all about 'stadium seating' where the rows are sloped so nobody has any problem with their view. I am all in favour of that.

Hubby and I Saw This Yesterday and We Both Really Loved It And Having a Husband Who Hates Romantic Comedies With a Passion, I Was Stunned to Say The Least...
Great Performances From Both the Leads and I Have to Mention The Case Worker Who Really Shone in Her Small Appearances..
A Great Mix Of Comedy and Sad Moments and it Definetly Made Me Laugh and Cry But Came Out of The Film Feeling Happy And Content Which to me is the Sign of a Great Film..
8/10

What's with all the random capitalisation there tracy3108?? Simoner0 seems to always do this too, it baffles me. Only capitals for names, places, not every word!
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH
