I went to see this as I had a cineworld voucher that was about to go out of date. Thought my OH and I would be the only ones at a Friday afternoon, lunch time showing at the 02, but there were a good dozen adults there, not including ourselves.

Shame, it was so boring though, and the young actors' acting has not improved either. It is only saved partly by the nice bit of animation for telling the Deathly Hallows story, and Dobby. Left feeling very unsatisfied. 5/10.

The world premiere of the eighth and final instalment in the Harry Potter movie franchise will be held in Trafalgar Square, a far bigger venue than the usual. The cast and crew of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" will begin the evening of July 7 on the red carpet at the historic landmark in central London before moving to nearby Leicester Square for the screening.

Leicester Square is the smaller space normally used for London film premieres.

"For the last decade we've been gripped by the on-screen battle between Harry Potter and his arch enemy Lord Voldemort and this is one of the most eagerly awaited films in history," said London mayor Boris Johnson.

"As befits a great British triumph, I can think of no better venue than the iconic surroundings of Trafalgar Square in which to stage the most spectacular of send offs," he added in a statement.

This film is going to be so popular I think we will need a great deal of luck to get hold of tickets by any method other than the unthinkable. (that's p*ying for them, not a reference to a rather violent film about interrogation) LOL

Yes let's. Who's betting it'll make even more money than the first one did?

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
