Quite an engaging and enjoyable film with some strong performances from the main cast members.

I saw this last week and found it enjoyable - some really strong performances, particularly from Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell. The supporting cast were also good - Melissa Leo, Minnie Driver and Juliette Lewis.
The story of two - or maybe three - convictions: Kenny Water's conviction for murder; the police officer's conviction that he was the man; and the sister's unwavering conviction that he was NOT the man.

Caught this recently on the inflight entertainment and thought it was a brilliant strong story. A very engaging story and a very strong central performance from Hilary Swank, it had one of those touching endings where you go "YES!!!!" (shame it didn't actually end happily ever after) Only niggly point was mentioned before the editing for the flashbacks earlier on in the film weren't the clearest. Try and catch it on DVD or TV 8/10

Good story of commitment and sacrifice - its a shame he never got to spend more time with his family after he was released - mmmm, not sure if I would have done the same for one of my family members. Engaging story 7.5/10
