OMG. This was... I have no words.

Oh no, I've got just a few.

GROSS.

PUERILE.

INSANE.

I just sat there open-mouthed, wondering whether they could go any lower and low and behold - yes they could. Who on earth dreamt this up? Did Seth, Jonah, Jay and the others sit around smoking weed one day and thought "Hey, let's make a movie where we sit around smoking weed and then lots of weird and gross things are going to happen. Yeah Dude."?

It was strangely compelling watching this explosion of bad taste - this really is the end of good movie-making. Rape talk, wanking, exorcism, playing football with a bloody head, Michael Cera behaving badly - oh yes, it's all in there and more. And that ending - good Lord. I did laugh - else I would have cried.

I am traumatised for life. Please tell me it was just a bad dream.

Thought this kinda sucked. Very far from hilarious as bourne out by the very few laughs heard in the cinema. yes there were the expected gross-out moments and toilet humour which just about held this together, but it was extremely self-indulgent and I am guessing a lot was lost to an audience less familiar with US actors. I will say that having so many actors playing and parodying themselves does make an interesting and refreshing premise, but I can't help feeling there were a lot of in-jokes.
The story itself was an interesting and novel take on a disaster-type movie, and the SFX were particularly impressive (as was the monster's willy!). Definitely some similarities with The Cabin in the Woods too.
I certainly didn't hate this but neither am I falling over myself to enthuse either.

Glad I didn't waste pennies.

I though I was the only one who thought this. I'd actually forgotten the football part - and that wasn't even the worst bit for me.

And yes, I had a stunned cringe look on my face at the ending.

Back from Cineworld Glasgow. Well this was interesting. From wikipedia it describes this the stars as fictional versions of themselves in the aftermath of a global apocalypse. The first 20 or so minutes was reasonable and started well. And there were laughs throughout the film but boy did it drag for me. The saving grace was right at the end
when Backstreet Boys did "Everybody (Backstreet's back)" but only cos I love that song.
It felt that once the apocalypse happened the ideas kinda of ran out. And I remembered I absolutely hate Danny McBride. I am sure he is a decent guy but he sucks on film and I don't find him funny at all.

And I was so looking forward to this after seeing a trailer for this during FF6

Utterly hilarious. Only wish i knew who more of the actors were.

A must see. No idea how it got a 15 rating though.

9/10

ps whilst some of the erm...humour made me squirm sitting next to my dear old mum, she loved it to ! (not sure if proud or disturbed!). I did have to explain to her who
the backstreet boys
were, though.

Got back a while ago from the Enfield screening and although I thought I'd enjoy this flick I certainly wasn't expecting this to be the best free film that I've seen (so far) this year.

It's been quite a while since a comedy has made me laugh as much as this one did so I think those of you that picked up tickets from Sky earlier today have got something pretty special to look forward later this month o/ .

Overall one of the best comedies I've seen in the last few years & the first time this year I've felt comfortable handing out a 9/10  ...

This was gross and OTT and stupid and I cannot stand Danny McBride (and am indifferent about Rogen, Franco and Hill) but... I found myself laughing out loud (possibly from the shock that oh god, yes they went there) a fair amount of times and the ending certainly was very funny and threw me back to my high school days. 7/10

Looking at the credits on IMDB I only missed 3 "stars" portraying themselves in the mass of people at the party, not too bad ^_^
