Edinburgh was packed to bursting tonight.

I enjoyed it, but it was Shallow Grave revisited with a bigger budget! I preferred Shallow Grave - sorry Danny!

It was a good romp through at usual Danny Boyle pace and yes, I agree with stuartboy, it does make sense.

8/10 from me.

I finally caught this screening at Holloway Odeon tonight, thanks to ejwrank/david. It was the first time I was asked for the Times card too!

It was great to have the lovely company of livi92, and we missed you greece! So much for stalking me.... :D

I was totally immersed in the film, but I really did not understand what is real or what is not, it got quite confusing for me! :D But a good piece of entertainment, nevertheless. 8/10

Awww sooo lovely to see you yesterday :D

I also got asked for a times card too.. but, she didn't seem too bothered when I said I'd forgotten it. o/

Loved the film, despite not really understanding what was imagined and what was real. I thought it was real cleverly done... and would love to see it again, to see if I understand more of it the next time.

Also James Mcavoy stripping was a nice treat.. Damn he's hot ;)

Too tired to post last night. Really enjoyed it. Would love to see again just to look out for things I missed the first time round.
Been a fan of Vincent Cassel since I seen him Crimson Rivers with Jean Reno. Couldn't believe we got to see more of him in the film:oops: 8/10.

For me there were a lot of seemingly superfluous scenes in the movie that didn't really contribute to the story, and I am curious as to why no one else seems to mention this. What did I miss? 2nd viewing too hasn't helped me. On top of which hypnosis surely cant deliver anything close to what it achieves in this movie, but sure I understand DB films always skirt outside reality/fringe situations as a kind of trademark, and this plot was typically Boyle-ing over. Bunging in lots of ingredients amounts to a sickeningly pleasant crime caper that is painfully obvious in its outcome but tortuously fun in its detail.

Good movie 8.5/10, although a pointless intro from Danny Boyle and the coch munching times plus adverts were an annoying contrivance. I absolutely adore the music in his films - so now time to download. :)
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Saw this on Friday night with a Q & A with Danny Boyle.
Very good. He shot this movie while he was doing the olympics.
He said , after being influenced by his two daughters that he wanted to make a movie where the main character was a Woman.
Worth watching again.
