Kids loved this and the 3d added to the film unlike some releases - highly recommended.

Went and saw this at a very full Bournemouth Odeon and took the family with me.The film was brilliant and the 3D added to it.It was a great family film and all the kids must have enjoyed it very well behaved and only 1 toilet needer.Great morning viewing.

I enjoyed it, the movie got quite a few laughs out of me. Of course cake for breakfast could have something to do with that ... In any event I will recommend it to all my friends who have kids as I thought it was good entertainment for all ages, although have to wonder why they insisted on it being 3D, as for the most part the only thing the glasses did was annoy me instead of adding to the viewing.

Absolutely brilliant film, well worth getting up on a Sunday morning for - I'm hoping Belt gets his own spin off from this.....Da da DAAAAAAAH!

The Croods had a fantastic voice cast and brilliantly unique and colourful creatures and concepts (the cat looked so fluffy!). However, I thought this was going to be funnier than it was (it didn't help that all the best jokes were in the trailer and I knew them already when watching the film), and dragged towards the end. I also thought Dreamworks' previous animation, Rise of the Guardians was FAR superior.

Still, 7/10 for a delicious selection of breakfast goods (including cakes, yum!) at the Empire Leicester Square, good entertainment and Belt's "TA-DA-DAAAAA".

Went yesterday to see The Croods with 9 year daughter and husband. Great family entertainment. I agree with comments about it not really needing to be 3D - I did have a bit of eye ache towards the end. The cinema was completely packed with families. A great Mothers Day activity as the film had something for everyone.

You've said exactly what I thought ('cept I didn't get the "delicious selection of breakfast goods)

Belt and Eep were the stand out characters for me.

My lad seemed to enjoy it in parts but I can't say that it left much of an impression on me.

I didn't find the characters particularly funny or likeable and the animation wasn't up to much either. The 3D DID work better here than in previous animated movies and the colours were great...but to me it all seemed rather soulless.

It's probably the most lacklustre, forgettable kids movie I've seen since Hotel Transylvania...and not a patch on releases from the last 12 months such as ParaNorman, Frankenweenie, Brave and Wreck-it Ralph.

I thought this was quite enjoyable and i liked the storyline. Good family movie and was quite funny. The kids in the cinema seem to love it and was laughing through out the film... someone even brought a newborn baby with them - Proper FMUK addict
