Based on my recent trip to London to see 'Monsters' (which unfortunatley I never got into

) and based on Kaybeelon post after it. What is the furthest you have travelled for a free screening.
P.S. My trip wasn't all that bad - still managed to get a couple of free tickets to 'Ghost Stories' at the Duke of Yorks Theatre on the Friday
I'll start with 400 miles Glasgow to London

I live in London went to a screening in Swansea for The Next Three Days.
I technically didn't travel especially for the film as I was on holiday in Wales at the time and didn't want to miss a free screening!

I don't suppose it counts if you are invited to a film festival, does it, as all the screenings there are free, anyway?!

And I believe Beate once went to Milton Keynes to catch a film--correct me if I've got that wrong. I know that isn't anywhere near the Glasgow to London trek but we were all impressed at the time!

Only impressed by Milton Keynes because you went from London didn't you? I figured you were already in Brum and I remember you were on holiday in Sussex and got to Chichester for a film.
