Was at Braehead too to see this. Cinema was full. Rave to the free popcorn but rant to having to listen to Justin Beiber for 30 minutes. Anyhoo I really enjoyed this film and thought the 3D was good, even better than Gnomeo and Juliet. Typical American comic with story of saving the world and stayed till the end for the 5 minutes or so starring
Samuel L Jackson
with about 50 other people. Also completely forgot Kat Dennings was in this. So lovely surprise to see her.

Big 8/10 from me.

I thought the film was really good. Enjoyed it. Shame the screen was so small at Whiteleys and quite a few tops of heads blocking my view. Would have preferred to have seen it at the Odeon Leicester Square. Must have made the film fantastic! But was working. Also could have done without the 3D. Didn't think it added anything to it. But can't wait for the next one! Especially to see Chris Hemsworth again - he is fit! And loved that smile! 8/10.

Lovely to see Beate, who looked very well and rested after her holiday. We were kept waiting outside until about 6.20pm, so did not need to save her seats after all.

The Avengers is another film coming with 4 of the Marvel Superheros together, Thor is one of them.

We had cameras on the way in, cameras inside before it started, and cameras blocking the exit on the way out, and free popcorn at Kensington.
My friend was super excited, I didn't realise she was such a huge fan! I thought the film itself was ok but that awful 3D. I took the glasses off as much as I could. It made everything dark and dreary, and most things, especially Asgard, looked like little cartoons rather than people, it was all too big. I do think that in 3D it would have been much better and I would have enjoyed it more. I liked the humour on earth, fish out of water stuff. (how come he could read English and wasn't scared of cars?) I perked up at Jeremy Renner but didn't understand why he wasn't in it for long. My mate says there's more to it and wouldn't say anymore. We stayed behind with all the Geek er I mean fans for the bit after the very long credits 6/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Was at a pretty packed Edinburgh Wester Hailles tonight and about 3/4 of way through we lost the dialogue track - it just went muffled, leaving the main soundtrack and the bass running. They stopped the film a few times then made an announcement that they would try a few things. Waited about half an hour then was told the technician was trying things with wires then would re-boot. Alternatively we were offered tickets to see again tomorrow or Thursday. I went for the latter. Don't know if they got it going again. Digital eh? Pffft! Lol.

This was suprisingly good. Utter hokum of course but very enjoyable, and also very funny, with laugh out loud one-liners. The 3D added nothing to it but Chris Hemsworth indeed sported "a good look" as Natalie Portman put it. Was amazed how many big names were in this film! There is something about Idris Elba's voice that makes me go weak in the knees. I don't remember Jeremy Renner though - was that the bit after the credits I missed?

I would also like to apologize to the people on whose feet I trod and whose viewing I disturbed when I had to squeeze out about 15 minutes from the end as I couldn't hold it anymore but this cinema is seriously lacking in legroom - and an incline for that matter although I had a surprisingly good view tonight.

8/10

Really enjoyed the film, but did not get the ending at all.

Perhaps some kind soul could pm and tell me what happened in the last 10 minutes :cross:

Watched this tonight at a packed Printworks although not my usual type of film I quite enjoyed it, probably perfect for a 14 year old boy. I totally agree with prettyxcool that Chris Hemsworth is a dish. 7/10 from me the extra point for his smile.

Once again I was sat next to a snogging couple and the bloke kept on putting his hand up her skirt which whenever he did he kept catching my coat thats how I noticed; its totally out of order especially when there were young children about. OH didn't notice as he was too busy stuffing his face with popcorn and didn't end up sitting next to them!

He was the guy with the bow and arrow, in the scene where Thor tries to retrieve his hammer.

Saw this tonight with my extremely happy bf! The screen was almost 100% full, several people including myself were asked to move up seats to create more spaces(even though the couple we were sat next to ensured us that someone was sitting in the spare seat...there wasn't.)
We both loved the film, especially all te special FX and the imaginary scenery was fantastic!
Lots of action and I enjoyed the different spells and magic ;)
I loved the random laughs included here and there although they seemed to fade near the ending when things got 'serious'
Cant wait for avengers/captain america now!
After reading on here about an end credit surprise, we too stayed till the end and are already speculating on what it could mean! (confused.com!)
We also had popcorn, one per person(at sky we only got 1 small bag between us), which was a nice surprise(bham showings dont tend to give it out!) we were also offered ice cream tubs for a quid :)

8/10
It was another S.H.I.E.L.D scene similar to Ironman 2 end credits, except this time it was Nick Fury and a collegue, Fury showed him a new 'power source', then you catch a glimpse of Loki's reflection in the mirror saying "let's try that then" (or something along those lines) and then the collegue says it, signifying that he's under control or something, then it ends :o
