Re: Untouchable
Saw this today at Greenwich Picturehouse. I really enjoyed this film. And the fact that it was based on a true story makes it even more heartwarming. It was nice to see Beate and OH. Although OH is in pain with his back, he still managed to have a joke!!
Re: Untouchable

Re: Untouchable
Truly delightful. It ticks every box: charming, witty and heartwarming with likeable characters. I had a big grin on my face throughout.
My only criticism is that it stumbles a bit in the final act, and dragged a bit towards the end.

Re: Untouchable
Saw this film at Greenwich Picturehouse this morning and it took me completely by surprise. I knew it was supposed to be excellent but why and in what way I had no idea. Reading somewhere it was about a handicapped man I assumed it to be a tear-jerker, but I couldn't have been more wrong.
The opening sequence wouldn't be about of place in a Fast and the Furious sequel (though really, we don't need more of those) and the rest was just incredibly feel-good and heart-warming. The tears did come in briefly at the very end but for the most part the film had me in stitches because it was so terribly funny (surprisingly so).
I loved the little touch at the end of "where are they now" as well as a very brief clip of the two people the story is based on. I always enjoy seeing the people that inspired a film if it's based on a true story.
9.5/10
Did anyone else think that the actor who plays Philippe looks very much like Dustin Hoffman?

Re: Untouchable
I also LOVED the 'Earth, Wind & Fire' music (my era!!) .. was bopping in me seat!! And when Driss started dancing - I soooo wanted to get up and dance along!!
Re: Untouchable
Saw this in the Cameo PH Edinburgh. Like everyone else was in tears of laughter. Knew a bit of what it was about but did not expect it to be so funny. It's funny in a natural way. No "jokes" are set up light years ahead of the punchline which I enjoy. A great 10/10. Why is it the 2 best best movies I have seen this year are European. This and Headhunters. I hope there are no American remakes of either of these.
