Zero Dark Thirty - 7/10 - gripping, but whatever.
Silver Linings Playbook - 8/10 - Nice to see that Bradley Cooper can act. Jennifer Lawrence is a babe.
Django Unchained - 9/10 - Just wonderful, Tarantino doing what he does, plus the unfoldings of an emotional friendship. Killer titles.
Wreck it Ralph - 6/10 - Disney, stop trying to make a Pixar movie and focus on making a world that makes sense.
Mama - 5/10 - Not enough ferral kid time, it just all got a little silly by the end.
Les Miserables - 6/10 - I honestly went in with an open mind and just felt nothing, I didn't b*y anyone's performances and hated the romance.
Robot and Frank - 7/10 - This was sweet and refreshing.
The Hobbit - 8/10 - I wanted to fall in love with this but it just fell short, and what was with the lame opening scene!?

Olympus Has Fallen - 7.5/10 - Think 'Die Hard in the White House' and you get what you expect. Some tongue-in-cheek silliness but action never lets up. Great oneliners!

The Place Beyond The Pines - 9/10 - Epic. Triptych. Real. Devoid of Hollywood gimmickry, this film keeps you enthralled by cleverly weaving three intertwined stories over time whilst successfully keeping pace. An example of excellent filmmaking, this film deserves both success and acknowledgment. Unfortunately, the former will prove hard to achieve due to its obvious aiming away from the mainstream mentality. Great cinema.
