Re: Spring Breakers
Really don't know where to start with this film.. Quite frankly it was one of the worst films I've ever seen. The first 30mins were like a terrible porn movie and then the film just became stupider and stupider... It actually made me laugh, but for all the wrong reasons..
I really cant believe that James Franco agreed to do the film, as he's usually in such good films. His American accent was terrible also...
The one thing I'll remember from the movie is Franco saying Springbreak over and over again. It was said so much.. I'll probably hear it in my sleep.
1/10 at best for me...

Re: Spring Breakers
This was utter tripe; part MTV music video, part porno and part pretentious bullshit? It's taking over Die Hard 5 as worst film of the year for me and I slept through most of that! Wish I had followed my +1 out of the door within the first 15 minutes...

Re: Spring Breakers
This film was utterly outstanding and probably my film of the year so far. An easy 10/10.

Re: Spring Breakers
Either that last post was ironic or there's a massive disparity between those who liked it and those who didn't!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Re: Spring Breakers
I'm not being ironic in the slightest, I haven't seen anything as dreamily neon-soaked and self-consciously trashy as this. It's a perfect depiction of the logical conclusion to American society; a sea of blood, tits, neon, drugs and teen popstars. I loved every single frame, and am in fact going to see it again tomorrow night at a midnight screening.
