virgin media screenings no more

yesterday the website said a movie screening coming soon today its suddenly changed too where not doing them ne more :( http://customer.virginmedia.com/moviesfirst/ was a nice perk while it lasted occasionally showing film screenings that show film first or sky hadn't done the week b4 and was always easy to get hold of them

It's a shame they didn't have the courtesy to email Moviesfirst subscribers. Everybody deserves to hear Virgin's explanation, effectively "Look on the bright side - you can always fork out to watch the films". Thanks for that, Sir Richard.

I think it is too earlier to say; from the sound of it the Spiderman screening is 'one off' that might be repeated for other big blockbuster movies. Hopeful I am wrong!

Spider Man 2 is the second recent film from Sky. We also had Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

I do think they will do far less previews and maybe concentrate on the big blockbuster, Red Carpet events instead.
