What a great response to the movie, not much I can add to that, it about sums it all up

An all too relevant story of people reaching for the stars literally as well as closer to home that shows how far we've come, but how there is still much to do

Great performances all round, laughter, tears and a good soundtrack as well. Surprised Janelle Monáe is only on one track, worth listening to her stuff if you've not heard it. 9/10

There were quite a lot of teens in my screening and I was worried there would be mobile phones flashing and bored teens. I couldn't have been more wrong.

At the end of the film, a lot of these youngsters were queuing up to give their views to the camera crew there.
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Agree with what most people have already posted regarding this film.

Was anyone else a bit distracted with seeing Jim Parsons on screen and thinking if he was Sheldon Cooper then he would have figure it out already? Anyhoo loved the film.

The problem with Jim Parson's character, and most of the supporting cast really, is that it was such a paper thin characterisation that he couldn't take it anywhere. Compared to the brilliance of the three leads that stood out for me. A nice feel good film with an important message

Great to see another unknown true story being told. It's amazing to think that all this happened I'm my lifetime as I could never imagine not having my mathematical prowess recognised because of the colour of my skin or my sex. I am in total awe of these 3 women and delighted their story has been told. Actors played their parts very well and were well cast.

What a marvellous feel good movie. Really enjoyed it. The cast is just brilliant. I liked Kevin Costner in this role. Poor Jim Parsons, will he ever get away from Sheldon Cooper, and I thought he did, playing quite low key, as it is not about him, but the three leads.

The story is well told, lighthearted. There is humour, there is fun. There is a lot going on, space race, sex and race discrimination, working mums struggling to look after children, and every scene is so real, and engaging, and flows so smoothly together, the three black women's struggles and triumphs. Then there is drama of the difficulties of trying to get a man into space and getting him back safely to earth, and the courage it takes of those who were willing to go into the unknown.

However, cannot believe it has taken so long to get the recognition that these three ladies deserves, well portrayed by Octavia Spencer as Dorothy Vaughn, a natural supervisor and mathematician, who is also good with programming computers, Janelle Monáe as Mary Jackson, the aspiring engineer, fighting to attend engineering classes that will not accept black students, and Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, the brilliant mathematician, who earns the respect of her boss, and the only person the astronaut trusts.

So inspirational, nothing held them back!
