Also a feast for the eye. So beautiful and perfect. So much goes on that you cannot see everything on first viewing. I was lucky to be able to see it a second time. So many bits that I missed first time round. It is one you can watch again and again. The story is lovely and heartwarming, and captivating. Two new characters are introduced, the Light Fury and Grimmel the Grisley, the dragon killer.
Watching these characters grow from children to adult, makes it so real. The female characters gives as good as the males or even better. A brilliant family entertainment, even better at an immersive screening, where you enjoy pre-screening activities like Viking face painting, hair braiding, learn to train your dragon, puzzle solving, and a dunking sheep competition to win viking hats, posters and CDs. And the best part, riding Toothless and then being part of the trailer!
