Hello, everyone.

I've voted.

asamaic - i'm loving the look of the itinerary and once the date has been confirmed I'll probably book the Friday off too.

I'm with Diane65 though, I won't be doing the park run either :P

I've left this for a long time to give people a chance to vote. April 13th appears to be the majority vote but i'll give it another week before the vote closes.

I will start to make enquiries with my contacts to see what I can come up with regarding guided tours of the Castle, Cathedral, and riverbank.

An additional visit could be The Town Hall, which now has free self guided tours on Saturdays, between 10am and 3pm. There are 20 audio headsets so we could go round at our own pace. I can go and speak to them, and book a time if we would like to do this.

I wonder if asamaic and I could come up with a timetable of possible itineraries so we can get a better idea of what the day might look like.

13th April is in my diary!

Just been checking the trains and if travelling from Manchester cheaper to do Group travel as works out just under £39 each return which is available now. Saturday seems a lot more expensive than other days when can get a return for £34.
