Glass

#1 Post by CR80 » Mon Jan 07, 2019 9:13 pm

I didn't know where to put a question without being annoying. It says put questions in Film Discussion, so I'm starting a thread for Glass to ask the question.

I can't see the tickets anywhere on the O2 Priority App. I also can't see any guide to the O2 Priority App. Could anyone advise on where to find the tickets?

I’m having the same trouble locating the film via the o2 app as well, it doesn’t seem to be in there

It was on the app this morning with a countdown to going live at 12 midday. I was able to book then. It did say that tickets would be released in batches between 7th and 9th so I'm presuming the link has gone until tomorrow again. The link it goes to is the Weticketit site.

Really enjoyed Split & Unbreakable but this one is so disappointing. Id seen a few poor reviews before I watched, and sadly they were correct, this had so much promise but sadly fails for the most part. 2/5.
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife

Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights
A Quiet Place 2

Bit late now, but anyone any idea whether I need to revise Unbreakable and Split before seeing Glass - the third in the trilogy - tomorrow night?
I can't remember Unbreakable and don't think I ever saw Split.

I enjoyed this. Thought it made a change from the usual run of the mill superhero films. Doubt the cinema (Trafford centre) was even half full. Which is strange as all the tickets seemed to have been allocated

Edinburgh was barely a quarter full, and they'd booked the largest of the screening rooms. Each seat had free bottled water and fresh popcorn - what a waste! They also started the film 10 minutes early.

To answer my own question (again!!!) this does seem very much to be Unbreakable Part Three and as such doesn't really make it as a stand-alone movie. Apart from a few action set pieces it is actually quite a dull slow moving film and apart from a few silly voices very little happens. At least two main actors could have done this performance via phone from the beach. The third did all the work for both the other two.
I wouldn't rush...
