John Travolta needs another Vincent Vega – another unusual role in a big film to revive his career. Will this be it?
I was fortunate to see a preview screening of this film on Tuesday evening at The Odeon, Silverlink, Wallsend. The screening itself was very busy, and predominately female. It was a fairly good romantic comedy, and Bullock and Reynolds created some laugh out loud moments throughout. They were able to achieve a certain chemistry that has been lacking in other similar romantic comedies of late.

Most people didn’t like Death Proof, Quentin Tarantino’s segment of 2007’s double bill Grindhouse. Personally I liked the film and I’m sure I would have loved it if I had grown up during the era of exploitation flicks it faithfully replicated. At any rate, the only real complaint you hear is that it was ‘boring’.
