Re: The 100 Free Films in 2016 Club
Sorry Beate, I missed this at the end of the year. I didn't do too well on the free film hunt in 2015, compared to previous years but I would like to keep my number if possible. I'm way past the deadline so if it has been reallocated, that's fine too. Thanks!

Re: Brooklyn
I loved it. Was in tears at certain points. The performances were fantastic throughout. I wasn't so certain that the outcome was so predictable. I felt Eilis' dilemma and I wonder if she hadn't been caught out by that witch of a shopkeeper, she may have kept those letters in a locked drawer and just...

Re: Momentum
Terrible, made no sense whatsoever. Acting by most of the cast was awful and even though it had a few "credible" actors, it could not be saved. Just seemed very low budget and not in a good "Taken" type way. I cannot believe it is possibly set up for a sequel. I wouldn't waste your time going to see...

Re: The Connection
I saw this on Saturday afternoon in Stratford and it was only about 25% full. And there was a lady ticking off names at the door too so not sure what that may mean for all the no shows (if anything). We got the cards but no free glass. I liked the film. Yes the two main characters did look alike but...

Re: WARNING - MUGGERS IN N1
Thanks Sunny Saver, unfortunately I saw someone get mugged in this way in Bethnal Green, near the London Chest Hospital about 18 months ago. The poor woman was a nurse at the hospital and was knocked down pretty badly as they grabbed her bag. It really could have been me as I was crossing the road a...

Re: Plastic
I recognised most of the main actors in this from one thing or another but that familiarity counted for nothing! This really wasn't very good. The best bit for me was at the end when [spoiler]it said, quite dramatically "the diamonds have never been recovered" My friend looked at me and said in a ve...

Re: Pompeii 3D
Well, I got a lot of rolly eyes exercise during this film! This was disappointingly awful. Felt like I wanted to walk out within first 15 minutes. Bad acting from actors I think can do better. Love Kiefer Sutherland in 24, but he is ruining is reputation in this, maybe that is how the director wante...

Re: Locke
Ok, I don't want to underestimate the potentially hypnotising effect Tom Hardy may have on me, but I think I'm in the 'like' category. I can see why some people didn't like it but I enjoyed the way it all unravelled. Hardy definitely carried it off, even with his calming, if somewhat dodgy Welsh acc...
