Re: Hidden Figures

I ran to get there and got th last seat. The oaps of Edinburgh love to queue early! Were you at Vue? The screen I was in still ...

Re: Love & Friendship

I found this a bit disappointing to be honest. It took me quite a while to remember who all the characters were, and I just didn't think the story was good enough to keep me properly interested. I agree that there were some quite funny moments - usually from Tom Bennett, but I quite quickly forgot ...

Re: Brooklyn

I really enjoyed this - I didn't know much about the story before I saw it, so I wasn't spoiled too much! As others have said, the last bit in Ireland did seem a bit rushed somehow, and I thought the ending was a bit bland. Very sad in the middle though - it did make me cry! While I expected it to ...

Re: Suffragette

Thanks for the info, I'm still trying to decide if I should go or put my ticket back in the pot!

I finished watching the last season recently. I'm sad it ended, but I'm glad they didn't drag it out for years longer than it needed to be!

Re: Suffragette

Sorry to jump in without answering your question, but I have another one! The first code says American Express cards will be required, however for the last code in the thread you didn't need to enter anything to do with American Express but it still seems to be an American Express screening. Will we ...

Oh that's so sad! :( Apparently there have been at least 142 school shootings in America since December 2012 - that's shocking!!

Re: The Intern

I also went in with really low expectations, but actually quite enjoyed it. I thought Robert De Niro was really good, and there were some really funny moments - I particularly liked the Ocean's scene! I'm not the biggest fan of Anne Hathaway, but she didn't annoy me too much for once! Like others ...

Happy Birthday Clare! Preston is right - you're allowed to eat lots of cake, and birthday cake doesn't have any calories - woohoo! ;)
