Re: Coronavirus

I am amazed at the number of people who appear to breathe through their chin!!! What good does that do wearing a your mask hooked under your chin or coming on to a bus with the mask on and then taking it off when you sit down. Some only have their mouth covered not their nose. It is not rocket scien...

Re: Lockdown

I thought you would be working SB and that would keep you busy. I go for a walk early morning before it gets too busy with being in the older age group. Only go to the local shop twice a week again early morning. Haven't seen family or friends for weeks but keep in touch with video chats and phone c...

Re: Coronavirus

I had to laugh when I read stuartboy's RIP notice that at the bottom SB has "Sometimes I just sit and think and other times I just sit" Probably that is what a lot of us are doing in these sad times. Trying to keep upbeat and motivated but it will be harder the longer this goes on and numbers rapidl...

Re: Coronavirus

BBC early tonight were interviewing people on the streets in London and one young cretin said he would go where he wanted and do what he wanted. When asked if he was not bothered about passing it on to other people his reply was "That's their problem not mine". With an attitude like that it is no wo...

Re: Coronavirus

Just heard one of my favourite elderly aunts has died of a heart attack. Even sadder is that being in the high risk category I won't be able to go to her funeral.
This will happen now in a lot of families who will be unable to p*y their last respects to family members and friends.

Don't know how long it will take until things are back to normal but keep chatting on here to make sure everyone is okay and look forward to our Glasgow meeting later on this year. :cross:

Re: FMUKCON - 2020 - Glasgow - 28 March

I have been going out as usual but my family are concerned for me as being 73 years old, diabetic with other health issues (due at the doctor next week) they think I should not be travelling on buses etc. My younger daughter is a mental health nurse in a nursing home and she said if I get ill then s...
