Re: Date Night
has anyone that had 30th march tickets been sent links to a new ticket or are we supposed to try to get them through a code? I replied as soon as I got that change of date email but had nothing back and the old ticket link still says 30th March. I sent them a grovelling email yesterday as i forgot ...

Re: Kick-Ass
Did anyone else go to the Sheffield screening last night? It was my first free preview. Is there always security standing through the film? I've only ever been to one screening at Sheffield Cineworld where the security was actually stricter than last night. Think it was 3D Ice Age last year and not ...

Re: Kick-Ass
We also loved it and on the way out were also saying what 2 films it was a cross between. Think we ended up with Reservoir Dogs meets The Incredibles.anteena1 wrote:

Re: Oscars 2010
Another thanks Elski. Glad someone else actually liked Sandra Bullock and could see past all the drivel she'd done in the past, well predicted. My personal fave, An Education, didn't win but Hurt Locker was certainly deserving.

Re: BAFTAs 2010
But I'm assuming people have been getting tickets with the printed voucher ok. You can change your voucher(s) for any of the screenings this week at any time. The only thing I don't know is if they'll exchange more than one at a time so I usually go early and get my first ticket and then as I'm ...

Re: BAFTAs 2010
Not sure how much i should be grumbling when there's so many free BAFTA screenings but sheffield cineworld certainly aren't exactly covering themselves in glory so far. Firstly the films aren't fitting on the screen, so we keep missing any comments/subtitles on the bottom. Young Victoria just ...

Re: An Education
i feel a bit out of date commenting on this now but i'm making the most of the BAFTA screenings and just have to say WOW. Best feeling i've had after a film for ages and thoroughly enjoyed and was engrossed by every character from the humourous father to the ditzy blond to Jenny herself. My fave ...

Re: Legion
just seen this today and not as impressed as i hoped i would be. Not a patch on Book of Eli, not nearly enough happening and needed more locations. I generally like this sort of film but didnt have a postive feeling coming out at all. hey ho 6.5/10

Re: The Blind Side
A real tear-jerker this one for me. I dont go for relationship nonsense but always end up blubbing for almost anything with disadvantaged people/groups in it. Strangely, as a sports lover i hate films with sport in them but this is actually a great film and the section where the american football ...

Re: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
Saw this at sheffield cineworld and thoroughly enjoyed. It's kind of Clash of the Titans for teenagers. Agree that Brandon T Jackson made the film and would definitely recommend if you're into your fantasy films, a worthwhile addition.
