Re: Holiday Thread

Congrats John Milton! I went to Bali many, many moons ago, probably about 15 years ago, so the memories are very distant! I do remember the beautiful beaches with not a soul on them! The warm sunshine and yummy food. I had a Cathay Pacific flight and hotel package which included a day spa and body ...

Re: Holiday Thread

Hi all, I'm on the move again! :D My OH and I are getting married in August, and she managed to find an excellent deal on flights for our honeymoon. So, we're off to Bali! :) We haven't booked a hotel yet and I was wondering if anyone has been to Bali and has any recommendations for accommodation, t...

Re: Holiday Thread

What a fantastic choice. The Isle of Wight is wonderful and will not be so crowded in September. I know nothing about dog-friendly pubs but dogs are around everywhere so I wouldn't worry too much. We stayed in a hotel right next to the Shanklin Chine which is lovely and peaceful. There is so much t...

Re: Holiday Thread

Hi all,

The OH and I are looking to have a UK based break in September and she has set her sights on a visit to the Isle of Wight. Can any FMUKers help out with:

Pubs etc that are dog-friendly
Places to see
Any recommendations at all!

Thanks in advance

Re: Ultraviolet Codes

Do any FMUKers use UV codes for movies?

I've just started and I'm looking to swap codes. I've got codes for the following movies to swap:

Fury
Pacific Rim
Man of Steel

Re: Weight Watchers

We need to waken up this thread. Hear, hear, Diane! Don't be so hard on yourself. By being aware of what you're eating and actively trying to do something about it, is half the battle I find. I'm taking small steps to try and get back up to scratch (as per private message) and managed 30 minutes on...

Re: Weight Watchers

Hi all,

Nice to see some of the old hands keeping up the good fight here!

Apologies for my absence but it was due to events outwith my control.

Do any FMUK WW'ers use a Fitbit?

Re: Weight Watchers

Kept the momentum up today and hit the pool. 0.5 mile in 25 minutes which I'm pretty pleased with as I'm not much of a swimmer.

Helped offset the massive Sunday roast my OH's mum made for lunch!

Re: Exodus: Gods and Kings

Caught this last night with the OH and we were both in agreement on this one and like many here, found it to be bloated and that it was so focused on Bale and Edgerton's performances that the rest of the characters were little more than window dressing. If you've seen much of Cecil b DemIlle's work,...
