Re: Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

I knew about Sharon Tate before watching the movie, so I thought the ending was just for the emotions. If only they really could've survived in real life. I know but imagine if you didn't have that prior knowledge. It's not really spelled out in the movie and I've read a lot of other reactions from...

Re: Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

i had to miss the final few minutes - can anyone tell me what happened after Leo spoke to his neighbour through the gate after the police and ambulances had left? They get on well, he recognises Rick, Sharon comes down and invites him inside. The implication is that he meets Polanski and gets a car...

Re: Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

This felt more like three episodes of a TV show than a movie, there isn't really an overall story and you need prior knowledge for it to make any sense. It was enjoyable enough but I found the style really inconsistent with the random voiceover and flashbacks so I didn't think it earned that ending....

Grim, pointless movie. Surprised it was even released considering what's going on in Ireland with the Ana Kriegel case. Presumably not enough people have seen it to make the link or everybody is hoping this just quietly goes away.

Re: Sweet Sunday Codes - offers

The sugary stuff like Starburst and Skittles etc. are included this time, around £1 per bag, 5 points per bag = £2 or so per ticket (bin the sweeties!).

Re: I Love My Mum

It's 9.1 on IMDB from 31 votes, 16 people who could easily have a connection with the movie rated it 10.

Endgame has 8.8 from 427,120 votes, granted 150,000 of those worked on the CGI but still a much more reliable sample size.

Re: Eighth Grade

:sofa: Didn't know this was a horror movie. Thought the ending was a bit iffy. The tone of the last 10 minutes doesn't fit the film I feel. Did I miss an explanation about the time capsule boxes? The first one seems to be given as a prize at school, some kind of US tradition or just poorly structure...

Re: Alita: Battle Angel

Like the style of the reviews so far o/ Thought this was well presented in the IMAX format but just reached the minimum quality cinemas should be providing, there was nothing spectacular image or sound wise. Found the movie a bit Panzer Kunst mainly due to a very uneven tone. A mix of childish expla...

Re: Problems with WeTicketIt

That would be silly, Who would they send invites to? Bear in mind that they want full screenings and invite only screenings are usually empty. The most disposable part of any of these online schemes are people. They could just go to any ISP or SIM or loyalty rewards provider they haven't worked wit...
