Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Yes! It's been great. The main problem has actually been figuring out which ones to go to. I loved The Three Musketeers - shows at St. Paul's church seems to be generally well done, interactive, and fun. I also went to One Last Look, which was very intense in a good way. Keep it up. Glad your enjoy...

For you theatre lovers sign up to central tickets. They are a seat filling company Thanks for the info! I'm signing up now. Been spending a pretty penny going to shows this year and don't think my partner is very happy. Started going by myself to halve the ticket costs :( Have you managed to get yo...

Re: Love, Simon
A very well crafted romance/coming out story by the team behind The Fault In Our Stars. Basis of the movie being Simon is "in the closet" and finds it hard to deal with until he springs a cyber relationship with an unknown called Blue, is outed by someone who ultimately betrays his friendship and is...

Re: Ready Player One
Originally I attempted to put my actual review on. Hopefully this posts in full. Any of you hesitating to see it Ready Player One is a GIANT slice of nostalgia for those 80s & 90s fans. From the offset Spielberg sets up the premise and we are quickly thrown into the Oasis and the first challenge. Th...

Re: I, Tonya
I am with Jessica on this, it was simply a mediocre film. Some comedy thrown in but a very dragged out movie. Acting was superb but spoilt by cheap cgi and it's overall length. Typical of a Hollywood docu-drama. I rated it on Rotten Tomatoes as "average". Carl quote="JessicaRoseTimo"]I feel like I'm...

Live Score Movie Screenings
Hi All, I am curious, as a member here, showfilmfirst, centraltickets I am astounded by movie soundtracks and scores. Have any of this group's members been to a LIVE SCORE film showing? I have noted that ET is at the Southbank this week and lots of throughout the year. Does it heighten the soundtrac...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Comparatively a slow star wars film. Rogue One was a fantastic showcase of what Disney could bring to the sagas expanding world but this was definately lacking on too many levels. Lots of overly long scenes that didn't really result in anything or simply too predictable. On a par in my mind with Pha...
