Re: American Animals

Slow start and didn't think I was going to enjoy it with the "real people" being introduced at the beginning and throughout instead of the usual very end of film credits. But it picked up and you could see the obvious mistakes they were making and on retelling each had their own version of events.

Re: Sgt. Stubby

There was a staff member called Michael who was just at the entrance of the screening selling drinks and snacks throughout the performance. Think he would have noticed you coming in without a ticket among the "mature folk" who were in the audience.

Re: Sgt. Stubby

I pa*d £18 to see the Andre Rieu concert at the Odeon at Lothian Road which was brilliant but would have been annoyed if I had seen people "crashing in" without p*ying to see it.

Re: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Think I preferred the first film. This was for me a bit OTT and the "Waterloo" scene was stupid. Loved the Dancin Queen. But will probably go and watch it again to see if my opinion changes.

Re: Book Club

Not as funny as expected. Some laughs but pretty mediocre. Diane Keaton was the frumpiest of them all yet she gets Andy Garcia! Who would lie on a float in a swimming pool with a big toweling dressing gown on??
Candice Bergen stole it for me with her scenes. 6/10

Re: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Although predictable I enjoyed this film but felt it was too long and drawn out in places. 7/10
