Re: The Killing of a Sacred Deer

I don't even know where to begin on this one. I agree a lot with previous comments and certainly would not describe this picture as an evenings entertainment. Weird is what I would call it but certainly it leaves you thinking who comes up with story lines like this. Thankfully it was a freebie as I ...

Re: Only the Brave

I enjoyed this movie, and have no recollection of this actually happening. Such a sad outcome. Fire fighters who have to contend with the awful ones that happen each year in California and elsewhere should be applauded. I liked the storyline giving you some idea of what the families have to go throu...

Re: The Florida Project

Well what can you say. Just short of two hours watching kids playing. Reminded me of my younger days, when we had the freedom to go out and about for hours, but film plot.....not sure if there was one. Don't get me started on the ending, it was like they ran out of money and the film just went to th...

Re: Kingsman: the Golden Circle

Saw this last week at the sky screening. I had re-watched the first film a couple of nights before and it was even better the 2nd time. I went with high expectations for the sequel and although I did enjoy it and it was certainly action packed and fast paced, it did not live up to the first one. Thi...

Re: The Glass Castle

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I didn't find it to long as I was totally absorbed by the story. Loved the pictures and biopic at the end of the film. cannot believe how the kids grew up to be so level headed and able to make good independent lives after their very disjointed up bringing. 9/10

Re: American Made

Really enjoyed this film. Love Tom Cruise and this he was at his peak...in everyway!!!
Kept thinking at the end when he was expecting his car to blow up every time he got in it, then why put all the videos in the back as they would have gone up in smoke to.

Highly recommend. 9/10

Re: The Last Word

I saw it through Times+ at Baillieston last Tuesday, and I too found it to be an enjoyable watch, although I agree with MeGaskell in that I would have been happy to watch on the TV screen and would not have chosen to p*y for the film. Liked all the main roles and there was good chemistry.

Re: Baby Driver

My hubby was keen to see this and I was happy either way, but really glad I went as thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of action, reasonably good storyline and Kevin Spacey was his usual brilliant self. Time flew and would recommend. 8/10

Re: Gifted

I really enjoyed this nice family film, without bad language etc. Thought Mkenna Grace was fantastic and so natural...definitely going to see a lot more of her in upcoming films.

Yes predictable but still worth a watch. 8/10
