Re: Why Him?

Agree in general that the storyline was a bit lame and yes certainly overdone on the swearing but I have to admit to giggling in quite a few bits and my daughter of 25 really enjoyed it so that says something for who it is aimed at. Still it wiled away a couple of hours and certainly not the worst c...

Re: Allied

Saw it in a packed Edinburgh Omni last night when we finally got into the cinema itself. Left standing in the corridor till 6.20 and considering it was a 'Times' showing meant 75% of the queue were retired and a few could certainly have done with a seat. I even mentioned to another couple that they ...

Re: The Accountant

This was just my kind of film. I love a thriller with lots of twists and turns and although I worked out a few there were certainly some surprises. Only bit I was confused at first with was that I could not work out which son was theirs when they were at the special unit until later on when it dawne...

Re: Deepwater Horizon

I enjoyed this as I am a fan of a disaster movie. Kurt Russell looking old these days but still a twinkle in his eye. Story was interesting as only have a basic memory of the event at the time. It was fortunate that so few did die as it was going up like a tinder box.

8 out of 10.

Re: Anthropoid

I found this film absorbing from the start. I have always been interested in the stories although most are harrowing of events that took place during the war. I found it to be realistic and enjoyed all the performances from the actors.

Re: Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates

Went with my daughter and both of us really enjoyed it. It was harmless fun with a lot of good giggles throughout. Preferred this to Zac's last film 'Bad Grandpa'

Re: Captain Fantastic

Loved this film and like others did think at first I was going to watch a super hero movie. All the kids were great and good message in there for parents of today. I didn't mind the end as at least they were all together and Bodevin ( I think that was his name, got to follow his dream) 9/10 from me

Re: Learning to Drive

A pleasant way to spend 90 minutes but no real substance or point to the story. Would not like to have pa*d for it but I didn't leave the cinema, not having enjoyed it.
