Re: First Man

Very long winded. Not sure Neil Armstrong is a good candidate for such a long movie as I found him completely devoid of a personality. Think a film about the second man might have been better as he seemed to be a bit controversial, with plenty to say. Felt no connection whatsoever to The First Man, ...

Re: Sgt. Stubby

I wasn't a keen as my OH on this one. We went with friends and their 2 kids and I was very aware that this may have been a bit boring for them, which distracted my viewing. Had a few good laughs in it and thought the animation was excellent. Don't why they changed the truth of him getting on the boa...

Re: MI Fallout

Was lucky enough to get to see this at the Trafford Centre, enjoyed my shopping slightly more than the film. I'm getting rather tired of these films now, if it wasn't for the fact that he does the stunts, I don't think it would still be going. The stunts were really good, but the storyline is all ov...

Re: Weight Watchers

There are sports shops now that test your running for the perfect shoe and also tell you any problem with styles of running, might be of use? As a fitness pro, im not a runner (my dad used to run marathons, something I've not inherited unfortunately), I do love to power walk though. Power walking wi...

Re: Book Club

Was a bit disappointed with this film. Such an amazing cast and yet I found most of them a bit cringeworthy. I did find it interesting to have Don Johnson in it considering his daughter is in 50 shades. I felt like it never really got going although I did laugh a few times. Shame it was so predictab...

Re: Ready Player One

Saw this at Liverpool one on Monday night with my OH. Better than expected, but far too long. The effects were great, but I couldn't have cared less for the characters. 7.5/10 from me 9/10 from OH. Would have scored higher had it not dragged along like some sort of vanity project and the huge plot h...

Re: Red Sparrow

Hmmmmmm way to many flaws, things just didn't add up. Even Jeremy Irons gave up in the end and just went with his British accent instead of Russian. Way too long 6/10
