Re: Bridesmaids

Just back from seeing this in Liverpool. Good with plenty of laughs. Not as funny or good as I was expecting, but then again its my own fault for going with such high hope. Felt like they had left a lot of spaces to fit laughs in in that either didnt come or had finished already?? Very busy tonight....

Re: Prom

I saw this 2day @ Liverpool 1. Very cliched and not as good as I was expecting although I was very tired 2day!! They tried to "hip" it up a bit by trying to make it a bit "breakfast clubby"?? That did NOT work for me at all as I love the breakfast club and as for the bad guy act, a bit pathetic real...

Re: Attack The Block

Saw this at Cineworld Liverpool last night and really suprised myself by liking it. Film was much better than the trailer leads you to believe. I'm not a fan of shaun of the dead or such films, but could find myself watching this again when it comes out on dvd. I was accompanied by teenage son and ...

Re: Attack The Block

I watched this in in Edge Lane, Liverpool. Pretty bad place to watch a film anyway and was surrounded by students, the girl next to me was THE noisiest eater ever. How can you eat popcorn so LOUDLY. Very annoying. Not helped by this awful film. Not a fan of Nick Frost at the best of times, but he wa...

Re: The Way

Went to see this tonight at Liverpool 1, not the usual crowd, but that could have been my imagination?? Im sure there was the usual crowd dotted around, but there were a few coach "church" groups there which in all fairness, you dont usually see at the previews. Better than I expected. I knew it was...

Re: Water For Elephants

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Was expecting a pretty bad film as the advert for it depicts. Couldnt figure out the old guy was Bishop Brennen from Father Ted till after Id left lol.A couple of down bits, the super-imposed animals during the scenen where they'd all been let out of their cages was pretty...

Re: Thor

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Wasnt looking forward to it, but so glad I went to see this. Liked the way he came down to earth in modern day! Good few laughs in there as well. And what a hottie, hubba hubba!!!! 6/10

Re: Arthur

I thought it was kinda good. Admittedly, Russel Brand is no Tom Hanks or John Mills acting wise, I liked it. Maybe because I'd gone with low expectations and didnt like like the original film?? Much better than I expected. Give it a chance, most people dont like Brand and consider it a failure befor...

Re: Scre4m

I dont think it would make much difference if you watched the other 3 scream films before going to see scream 4, but I happen to really like them, especially the opening of scream 1!!!
