Re: Rust and Bone

Strange film with lots of themes but a nice ending. Now a fan of Matthias Schoenaerts from his film Bullhead a couple of years ago - really liked his "confused" personality in this movie. Story really drew me in and i forgot i was reading subtitles.

Re: Untouchable

After watching a brilliant thought-provoking My Brother the Devil, this movie was a light, inspirational and funny story, made even better being a true story. Loved the characters, the relationship and the songs. One to be watched over and over again. 10/10

Re: My Brother The Devil (2012)

What a gem of a film - the best real "street film" by non-actors I have seen so far. Great storylines and mixed emotions. Would never have thought it was directed by a half Egyptian woman - definitely see it if you havent. Release in November I think.

This film had its moments to smile but hardly a laugh-out-loud film for me and i would have been disappointed if I had pa*d for it. 5/10

Re: Searching for Sugar Man

Saw this yesterday at the Hospital Club - what a lovely documentary - the best documentary i have seen this year apart from Senna that created a tear in my eye - what a humble man! Not many of them around these days.
