Re: Arrival

I got to see this last night and now really liked it. The only thing i wasn't super keen on was the ending but it was very thought provoking and a nice take on the Alien visitor genre. Does anyone know what the time scale of the film was? They mention on the news at one point that its been a couple ...

I was on the balcony on the cineworld superscreen :)
The film was more or less exactly what i expected. I enjoyed it but did wish for more on the beasts.

Re: Hunt For The Wilderpeople

I saw this at Empire Live a while ago but would recommend to anyone. I went in knowing nothing but enjoyed it immensely. Sam Neill was his usual talented self and Julian Dennison gave me plenty of laughs.

Re: The Girl on the Train

I was disappointed with this, i was quite optimistic after the trailer. I haven't read the book and didn't know it was originally set in England. I think it might have added something to the movie if the England setting was kept. I thought Emily Blunt was very good as usual.

Re: Sausage Party

I was finding it very hit and miss but loved the political nods. Was very surprised at the very dirty scene towards the end! Wasn't expecting that at all! Filth! 8O

Re: War Dogs

Watched this yesterday, was expecting more comedy than there was. Was still an alright film, crazy to think that it's a true story.
