Re: Antman and the Wasp

It was a good filler and link between the movies.. moving at a different dated pace... some funny moments and comic characters. The post -credit bits was a surprise bonus 7/10

Re: Searching

Our film gang saw it this morning and we loved it. A 21st century realtime social media exploration .. showing just what you can do if your existence is lived through the medium and then the addition of the psychological drama of a teen growing up with a father who cannot deal with the now effects.....

Re: Deadpool 2

As i've said before.. i am not a fan of the comics but the film kinda works for me.. Good fun and so many references to the dc universe and repetitive tropes of movies.. l laughed at some bits that were cheeky and obvious.. loved the attempt to tidy up! 7/10

Re: Edie

As above.. I saw it on Monday 14/5/2018 and loved the performance of Sheila Hancock and Kevin... Great photographic scenery... A film about recapturing, reclaiming one's identity after years of duty and how your kids don not necessarily know what is best for you 7/10

Re: Avengers Infinity War 1

Given that i read the stuff, i understand why they would have problems with him worshiping The big D and putting the complex comic characters in here.. But on the whole i felt they did well to generate a story with some logic in it and welding the vast number of superteams . Bring on part two! 7/10

Re: A Quiet Place

Happened to be in town and thought i'd watched this, i'd see it as syfy horror. A real chill to the bone the way gthe audience participated by b*ying in to the silence of the moment.. no crisps or pop-corn or nachos during the quiet moments but massive gorging during the sound moments!.. great movie...

Re: Ghost Stories

What a wonderful delight for a British Horror Movie... pleasantly surprised by the cast, which initially filled me with horror. I was expecting a standard horror & ghost investigation story.. instead i got more and psychologically troubling... There were one or 2 hints that suggested a deeper readin...
