Really liked this movie, it was quite touching and the ending was so cute.

Re: Colette

Saw it during the BFI LFF last October and I have to agree with previous comments, it was a really well made movie and Keira Knightley was quite impressive in the role.

Re: Downton Abbey The Film

I'm looking forward to it, I enjoyed the series and I kind of miss the characters, I would love to see what happened to them after we left them at the end of the show.

Re: Mary Poppins Returns

Went to see it this afternoon. I quite enjoyed it, I found it was better than some typical Disney's "sequels" in the sense that it was not trying to be better than the original, nor was it trying to be a simple copy/paste. That said, I found some scenes to slow a bit the narrative. After this first ...

Re: Wreck It Ralph 2

I do believe Disney used its powers and position in today’s society to get a good deal with those brands to have them featured without any name changes necessary (who would be dumb enough to say no to such a worldwide product placement?). Perhaps the plot should have focused more on the dangers of t...

Re: Wreck It Ralph 2

Went to see it at the BFI preview on November 27th. I quite liked it, I found it to be the Disney movie I expected to see, and I appreciated the effort to depict how ugly the Internet can be when people use the safety of being behind their screens to be mean and aggressive to others. Was all that br...

The Grinch

My only trouble with this movie is that I was unfortunately sat way too close to a family with two young kids that had no interest whatsoever in the movie and were constantly moving and talking :nono: Why people behave in the cinema as if they were alone at home is beyond me, but from the little I c...

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Saw it a few weeks ago, and I really love it!

It's a very nice Disney movie, perhaps some people will deem it quite typical for the studios, but for the holiday season it's worth a watch honestly.

It's true that JK Rowling changed her plans since then, I forgot about that, it was supposed to be a trilogy at first ;)
