Re: Antichrist

I'm going to the organic marketing one tonight, and then dashing round the corner to the Empire to see Mad Sad and Bad - should make for an interesting evening! I think they are doing another screening later in the week but you probably need to apply again for it. Here is Phunkygal's post in case yo...

Re: Imagine That

Not even the kids laughed very much I think it was even less funny for kids than it was for the adults - if that is possible. Re: Imagine That

The lady that checked my i.d today said that they don't usually bother but she had been specially told to do it today. The cine...

Re: Cinema Reviews

Newham Showcase may have more comfortable seats but it has really gone downhill in recent years. When I visited a couple of months ago it was overrun with flies from the nearby sewage works and waste tip. There were dozens of them in the foyer and by the food counter and even in the screening room. ...

Re: Cinema Reviews

Tufty just wrote this on the film discussion board. "The only thing that spoilt the film for me was that I sat near the back of Screen on the Green and found that that I had problems seeing the subtitles due to peoples heads being in the way, will need to remember to sit nearer the front for future ...

The most uncomfortable cinema seats that I have encountered in recent years are at the Screen on t...
